Young professionals starting their careers in the built environment in Liverpool will now be able to build their network and engage with fellow peers, thanks to the launch of the Forum for Tomorrow’s (FFT).

FFT, which is part of the Forum for the Built Environment (FBE), the UK’s leading independent networking organisation for people working in construction and property, is aimed at professionals under 30 years.

The official launch of FFT’s eighth branch will take place at The Alchemist, Liverpool on Thursday 27th July.

Although membership of the FFT is aimed at professionals under 30, all ages are welcome to attend the regular events, which will take place in and around the Liverpool City Region.

Speaking about this exciting phase of development, branch co-chairs, Amy Hardman and Carrie Allen from Active Profile, said: “It’s an interesting time for the property and construction sector in Liverpool right now with lots of development projects planned and in progress, providing opportunities for young people to kick start their careers.

“We’re excited to launch the Liverpool branch of the FFT to give young professionals the chance to start to build their networks, develop their knowledge of the industry and find the balance between socialising and networking.

“We hope to see lots of Liverpool’s next generation of property professionals join us for the official launch event and find out what we have planned for the city’s first ever FFT branch.”

Anita Singh, a geotechnical engineer also with Hydrock and FFT’s national representative, who sits on FBE’s national management committee added: “FFT provides a platform and voice for the next generation of construction and property professionals.

“I’m delighted that Liverpool has been chosen as the location for this latest branch. Joining FFT and attending the events is a great way to meet professional peers, gain knowledge and build a career in this interesting and diverse industry. “

The inaugural event will take place from 5pm and anyone interested in attending is advised to book early. For more information visit www.fbeonline.
