Active Profile has risen five places to 25th since last year in Prolific North’s annual list of the top 50 PR agencies in the North. It is the fourth consecutive year that the agency has risen up the rankings, from 38th in 2015.
The Prolific North Top 50 PR Agencies list began in 2013 and is regarded as the main benchmark of the North’s leading PR agencies. It is whittled down from a longlist of over 200 agencies, before 120 of those are drilled into in more depth.
Rankings are based on a variety of factors, including financial information from Companies House and financial reporting company Fame BVD, as well as info provided by the agencies themselves. The ranking process is overseen by independent research company Mustard.
Active Profile’s continued rise up the rankings is credited to a strong business strategy, new internal structures and investment in new talent. These factors have resulted in a number of major account wins and growth of existing accounts, including GVA North, Peak AI and LCR Local Growth Hub.
“League tables are a good indicator of how the industry is performing,” says Active Profile founder and managing director Anna Heyes. “As revenues grow across the board in the North, it’s great to see we’re edging up the tables each year alongside some impressive brand names.”
