The new Active Profile website has won awards in four categories at the CSS Design Awards. The site was recognised with certificates of excellence in the UX design, UI design and innovation public vote categories. It was also awarded the Special Kudos award, a commendation for noteworthy websites.

The CSS Design Awards were founded in 2009 and launched a year later. They act as a showcase for website design and development, awarding certificates and trophies to the best sites featured. In addition to the public being able to vote in categories for each website features, a panel of expert judges also score each site.

Public vote award winners are determined by votes from the public and the expert judges. They must receive over 20 votes in one or all categories and achieve an average judges’ score of above six (out of ten). The Special Kudos award is given to sites with average judges’ score of above six but below seven.

The Active Profile website scored 6.35 for UI design, 6.43 for UX design and 6.12 for innovation. It’s average score from the judges was 6.3, with 7.8 highest mark awarded by the judges. You can see the rather fetching certificates we won in the main image of this post!
